Where is Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, on the issue of abortion? Have you tried our Lambeth Fudge?
Where is Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, on the issue of abortion? Have you tried our Lambeth Fudge?
At first glance, the Where’s Welby? poster may look like an exaggerated mix of colour and activity but it is far closer to the truth than most realise.
From the building itself, to babies being flushed down toilets, organs being harvested or peaceful protesters being arrested within censorship zones for silently praying everything in the picture can be linked to sources, locations, people and events in real time and history.
Just a few weeks ago a women was arrested for silently praying outside of a Birmingham abortion clinic.
The image contains over 150 characters including around 50 public figures from politicians to sports pundits personally linked to the abortion crisis, with Welby hidden in the fray. Full details can be found in our downloadable guidebook. You can also download the poster.
Whether you are pro-life or pro-choice, this image aims to show the scale of suffering abortion inflicts on us all. The image also aims to get us to ask one question- in the face of this complex web of chaos, perversion and contradictions, where is the moral guidance our nation so drastically needs? In other words Where’s Welby?
In July 2022 we took our Where's Welby? posters to the Lambeth Conference in Canterbury.
In December 2022 we launched our own delicious fudge to draw awareness to our campaign.
